Fitting Room Review: Marimekko x Uniqlo
When I heard that Marimekko was collaborating with Uniqlo, I got excited. These are two brands I love — together!

Last weekend when I was at Target, I only had time to try on one pair of jeans from their new denim line, Universal Thread. But that didn’t satiate my curiosity. So I went back and tried on their $24.99 high-rise skinny jeans, which comes in three washes: dark wash, medium wash, and black.
Today I’m reviewing the Everlane Italian GoWeave Easy Pant. What is GoWeave, you ask? It’s a magical fabric that Everlane claims doesn’t wrinkle, keeps its shape, and regulates your temperature.
Everlane came out with a new cashmere sweater this season (at least I think it’s new) and I love the idea of it. Hello Waffle Knit Cashmere Square Crew! I love waffle knit; it’s such a great texture. I had to go try it on.
Earlier this week, I shared my general impressions about Target’s new clothing lines: A New Day for women and Goodfellow & Co. for men. Now, for the fitting room review! For each item, I’m presenting the stock photo from the website next to my fitting room selfie, just for shits and giggles. For reference, the models are 5′ 9″ and I’m 5′ 3.” The models are also undoubtedly airbrushed and I am definitely not.
One of the things I’ve been on the lookout for is a loosely draping T-shirt for summer. I don’t want it to cling to the body because of hot weather, but I also don’t want it look baggy. Behold: the Drape Crewneck Short Sleeve T-shirt at Uniqlo.
This is part 2 of my review of Uniqlo summer finds. Visit part 1 about the High Waist Belted Flare Midi Skirt here. As you can tell from the title, this is mostly about things that failed on me. But hey, maybe they’ll work for you.
While I was shopping Victoria Beckham for Target, I noticed that Who What Wear had put out a lot of summery dresses, so I tried some of those on as well. Here’s a dressing room review showing you what these dresses look like on a real (and petite) person.
A review of Victoria Beckham for Target, including sizing tips and fitting room photos. I’m trying to be stricter and not fall for the collab FOMO frenzy. In the early morning of April 9th, when Victoria Beckham’s Target line went live on the website, I calmly ordered just one dress in two sizes. (Shout out to the Target website folks. It all went smoothly this time.) I didn’t get to a brick-and-mortar Target store until the afternoon. But by that time, I’d already seen photos on social media of people with their #VBxTarget haul. It made me wish I had bought more to try on.
Sometimes marketing works. I was looking at Uniqlo’s website and saw the new Match and Mix Drape Collection. Might have found the most comfortable pants, ever.
