Eileen Fisher Try-On: Stretchy Pants, Midi Skirt, Boxy Blouse
No one asked, but here’s a post of me trying on some things from my recent Eileen Fisher order.

I bought a few pairs of Everlane’s Wide Leg Crop pants last year, so this review is long overdue. Everlane calls these high-waisted pants, “Our most flattering pant — ever.” I’m not so sure.
I’m writing this post later in the month than I usually do because I wanted to see if my Black Friday fashion buys made the cut. But, I’m still waiting for some of them to arrive. So, never mind. Onward.
I don’t often get to wear warm weather clothes. But that’s not stopping me from reviewing spring clothes. Today, I’m taking a look at two pairs of chino pants from Everlane: The Slouchy Chino Pant and The Easy Chino.
I’ve been skeptical of wide leg pants on petites. I always doubted I could pull off the look. Could I wear them even though I’m not willowy and tall?
My recent vacation plans spurred a search for cotton linen pants. I have to confess that I’m not a fan of linen. It wrinkles easily and I detest ironing. Living in a moderate climate, I have no use for it. But I worry about what to wear in warmer climates, and linen is known for keeping you cool. OK, fine. I guess I’ll try linen.
Today I’m reviewing the Everlane Italian GoWeave Easy Pant. What is GoWeave, you ask? It’s a magical fabric that Everlane claims doesn’t wrinkle, keeps its shape, and regulates your temperature.
I love the look of joggers for those more casual days, but because I’m petite, they often end up being regular length on me. (That was the case with these Uniqlo joggers.) So, I kept my eye out for a pair of jogger pants than would work for my frame, and Ann Taylor delivered.
Earlier this week, I shared my general impressions about Target’s new clothing lines: A New Day for women and Goodfellow & Co. for men. Now, for the fitting room review! For each item, I’m presenting the stock photo from the website next to my fitting room selfie, just for shits and giggles. For reference, the models are 5′ 9″ and I’m 5′ 3.” The models are also undoubtedly airbrushed and I am definitely not.
This is part 2 of my review of Uniqlo summer finds. Visit part 1 about the High Waist Belted Flare Midi Skirt here. As you can tell from the title, this is mostly about things that failed on me. But hey, maybe they’ll work for you.
