Fitting Room Review: Everlane Luxe Cotton Dresses
This summer Everlane introduced its Luxe Cotton line. I have to say, I love this fabric. It’s tightly-knit which gives it a super smooth touch, drapes nicely, and has the slightest bit of sheen.

I popped into Amour Vert recently, so here is a quick fitting room review of three items: the Amy silk blouse, Colombe T-shirt dress, and Gardenia jumpsuit.
I tried on seven styles of shoes from Everlane’s spring and summer releases. Here are my first impressions. (Some of them are, interestingly, on sale already.)
I made my way to Everlane recently to return some things. So, of course I also tried on some things, like Everlane’s new Essential Jumpsuit and Short-Sleeve Jumpsuit made from Japanese GoWeave.
It’s sweater weather, so I thought I’d review a few Everlane sweaters I tried on in the store. I’ve been on the lookout for a cozy sweater that I can thrown on — something that’s casual and not fussy, but still chic.
Ever since I reviewed Everlane’s denim last year, I was hoping they’d come out with something stretchier. Well, Everlane read my mind (and probably many other people’s) and released their Authentic Stretch jeans this September.
My cousin was curious about Everlane’s Clean Silk line, so I went to the San Francisco store to try them on and report back. What’s Clean Silk? It’s what Everlane calls their line of silk products made by a producer in China who uses safer dyes in an energy efficient LEED certified factory.
Everlane’s Japanese GoWeave wrap dressees have that minimalist thing going on and seem like they’d be easy to wear casually with or dressed up with accessories for an event. So I went to try them on, but my fellow petites, I don’t have good news here.
Target bills its latest brand, Prologue, as “trend-forward pieces and timeless essentials” for mixing and layering. The collection has lots of basics and a modern minimalist modern vibe. I do love a modern minimalist aesthetic, so I set out to take a look in person.
My recent vacation plans spurred a search for cotton linen pants. I have to confess that I’m not a fan of linen. It wrinkles easily and I detest ironing. Living in a moderate climate, I have no use for it. But I worry about what to wear in warmer climates, and linen is known for keeping you cool. OK, fine. I guess I’ll try linen.
