A streamlined, minimalist take on the trench coat.
Outerwear is my not-so-secret secret weapon when getting dressed.
While I was in the Everlane store recently, I tried on some of their new coats made from recycled materials: the Italian ReWool Overcoat, the Re:Down Sleeping Bag Puffer, and the Re:Down Puffy Puff. If you were wondering what these look like on a petite person, here you go!
It’s that time of the year for the hugely popular Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. The Anniversary Sale always tests my resolve to cut back on shopping because, well, sale! And it’s a decent sale too, with things usually marked down to a third off.
In my review of coats and jackets from Target, one of my favorites that I tried on was a faux fur leopard print coat. Today’s post is a review about a coat, but also about conflicted feelings. One place that I’ve enjoyed shopping is Club Monaco. Club Monaco feels a bit less fast fashion and trendy than other brands — at least that’s my perception of them — and I like that.
I’m a sucker for coats and jackets, and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a good time to shop for one. (It’s also a great time for shoes — I had a few picks in part 1 of my Anniversary Sale roundup.)
