The Thrill of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is Gone
And that’s a good thing.
And that’s a good thing.
My order from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale arrived, so here’s a quick update from my first post. It’s easy to get carried away with all the sale hype, but I am getting better at resisting!
The Anniversary Sale always tests my resolve to cut back on shopping because, well, sale! And it’s a decent sale too, with things usually marked down to a third off.
My recent vacation plans spurred a search for cotton linen pants. I have to confess that I’m not a fan of linen. It wrinkles easily and I detest ironing. Living in a moderate climate, I have no use for it. But I worry about what to wear in warmer climates, and linen is known for keeping you cool. OK, fine. I guess I’ll try linen.
All these other bloggers have been raving about the Leith Ruched Bodycon Tank Dress. Is it really that great? OK, let’s see about that. Off I went to Nordstrom.
I’m a sucker for coats and jackets, and the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a good time to shop for one. (It’s also a great time for shoes — I had a few picks in part 1 of my Anniversary Sale roundup.)
Browsing the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I can’t believe I forgot that Early Access (for Nordstrom card holders) started on July 13. I usually put it down on my calendar. The sale is for fall season (my favorite fashion season!) and it’s a decent sale. Most items seem to be around 25% to 35% off.
